18 months ago, Microsoft announced that Skype for Business will be retired on the 31st July 2021. With only a few months to go before this date, Microsoft has issued a reminder to its customers that after this date, the service will end. 

Microsoft Teams has replaced Skype for business, becoming the core communications client for Microsoft 365. Current users of Skype for Business are encourage to move over to Teams as soon as possible - but will need to bear in mind the technical, process and user scenarios that will need to be accommodated when planning the switch.
