Running an IT Support business can, at times, be a thankless task. Being a service industry, most day to day contact is because something isn’t working!

  • “I’ve forgotten my password”,
  • “How do I …” etc.
Thankfully, all our support technicians are helpful, professional, friendly and we put them all on a structured training path to ensure they improve constantly and, hopefully, progress through the MTech ranks from Help Desk to 2nd level support, through Projects and, ultimately, into our consulting team, all of whom have a Microsoft MCSE certification to their name in various disciplines.
Meanwhile, Chris and I work very closely with all the management teams and owners of all the businesses we support. Providing them with clear and helpful strategic advice, understanding their business needs and ensuring their IT infrastructure melts into the background and doesn’t hinder what matters most to them … their business.

I.T. SHOULD be invisible!

When we are introduced to any new clients, we take time to sit down with them and listen. Listen and understand how their business works, what is important to them, what are their concerns, pitfalls or constant issues. Only then do we start to put our technical hats on and start to design the right solution for their company. 
About 4 months ago, we were introduced to Jonathan and Amanda at Fitback – A leading provider of specialist occupational health services to businesses across Britain.

Fitback are expanding and they knew their existing systems were not working for them and certainly wouldn’t sustain them through any period of growth. Our Sales and Solutions Director, Chris Cadge, had several discussions with the Fitback team before putting his Solutions Architect hat on and designing the best, most cost effective and flexible system he could, based heavily around Microsoft’s Office365 product suite, this allowed full mobility to all the physios, administrators and management team built on a stable and secure platform.

Spending time to listen and understand businesses, so that we provide our clients with the most appropriate solution for them is what we do best. To get feedback like this is, of course, very welcome and gives everyone in the team a boost, knowing that we’re doing it right, but we won’t be resting on our laurels or relaxing thinking “Job Done”, not while those help desk phones are ringing, we’ve got work to do!
