"Our relationship with MTech was built during the foundations of our business. MTech set up all our software/computer/phonelines, you name it – they did it! It was during both our early days when everything in the world was transgressing from paper to online. Computers were even more of a mystery back then, as it is now – MTech was there for us every step of the way.

Ten years later, everything has advanced in the IT world and MTech is still guiding us through every step. They are constantly updating our systems and are always providing us support on the way.

As we all know, the web can be unpredictable so problems can arise out of nowhere – all we have to do is give MTech a call and they are often in our office in mere minutes. Any time a minor issue arises, they are only a phone call away.

We started working with DEU estates in 2008 when they became our very first customers. Established in 1970, DEU Estates is one of the longest and largest running Estate Agents and Letting Agents in Leeds. Their main business is to let student properties for the 1st July, which they are in the process of doing. They specialise in all aspects of the property industry including renting, buying, selling and letting in the Leeds area. They have properties in Hyde Park, Headingley, Burley, Kirkstall, Leeds city centre and Meanwood.
 

The challenge for our IT experts

When we first started to support DEU Estates we set up their computers, software and phonelines to ensure their business was fully functional and continue to do so today. We helped DEU to move from paper to digital, set up a fully functional 2nd office and enabled remote working.

Over the last 5 years, we’ve migrated DEU to Office 365, improved their security around our 6 pillars of GDPR compliance; Implementing Sonicwall firewalls, improved encryption and logical security as well as physical security and CCTV systems.
